Motivational songs for whenever you’re feeling down

Hear me out: There’s so much I am currently afraid of – writing my final thesis, getting an internship, the future, but most and foremost getting my drivers licence. I started taking lessons before but had to stop since I moved to a different city. I had to retake the theoretical exam because my first one expired. And let me tell you, I would gladly take a hundred more of those than sit behind the wheel. My thoughts just run wild before every driving lesson and I would dread driving so much to the point where I would hope the teacher would cancel on me :’D I know this sounds bad but here comes the thing: I am actually a quite decent driver, if I can say so myself. My current teacher, thankfully, is super nice and we talk about other stuff to distract me from my fear and that’s all that is: fear. Something I bring upon myself because my head just doesn’t know how to stay calm sometimes.

I’m sure some of you have experienced this as well. Being afraid of something which you actually CAN do. You can speak infront of the class, you can pass that exam and yes, you can drive. It’s just our head screaming about all the possible outcomes that drives us insane. But why think about something that hasn’t happened yet? I mean, a meteor could strike down right now and kill us all but that doesn’t mean we should live in fear of that happening every moment of our life. Stuff will happen or it won’t. Staying calm will definitely only help in not letting those bad scenarios happen. So, in order to stay calm and positive, here’s a few songs I like to listen to whenever I need a motivational boost or would like for my fears to vanish 🙂
