The Yellow Truck – Tami Tanniyan
We’re in a yellow truck,
the road ahead,
no route nor plan,
hanging by a thread.
So much to see,
so much to feel.
Know the world still turns,
that’s how we heal.
This poem is inspired by the Movie “Keith” (2008) starring Elisabeth Harnois and Jesse McCartney. Their characters, Natalie and Keith, really grew on me and I loved Natalie’s growth from being too focused on a perfect life to actually living life. Our time on this planet is short, so don’t hesitate and follow your heart.
